YWT #22- A Dying Breed
This weeks episode of You Would Think stems from a documentary that Mike recently watched, Ice Guardians. The documentary talks about the role of the enforcer in hockey, and whether or not they are a good thing for the sport. Some would argue that fighting causes more injuries, especially concussions. When in reality, there are studies that show fighting only counts for 5% of concussions in the sport of hockey. The realism is that fighting is a dying breed, and the role of the enforcer just simply no longer exists. Hockey has become a true skill and speed game, but is the lack of an enforcer truly good for the game? Kyle and Mike dive in on this topic this week. In addition, the guys talk about the Philadelphia Phillies season thus far, along with the Stanley Cup Final.
