Seth Griffith was an elite AHL scorer in 2016-17, although he was not qualified by the Leafs. He scored 44 points in 34 games with the Toronto Marlies.

The Hawks have signed Lance Bouma, who scored seven points in 61 games with the Flames. Lance Bouma was bought out yesterday by the Flames.
Dallas

Antoine Bibeau was not qualified by the Toronto Maple Leafs, making him an unrestricted free agent. In 32 games with the Toronto Marlies, he posted a 3.08 GAA and a .894 SV%.
St. Louis

Oskar Sundqvist played primarily for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in 2016-17. In 63 games, the Swede scored 20 goals and 46 points. He appeared in 10 games with Pittsburgh, scoring no points. Sundqvist was acquired as a part of the Ryan Reaves trade.
Tampa Bay

Jamie McBain played 64 games with the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL in 2016-17, scoring 43 points. In his career, he has played 348 games in the NHL, scoring 110 points. He brings valuable experience to the Syracuse Crunch next season.

Anthony Peluso played 22 games with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL in 2016-17. Over his career, Peluso has played 142 games in the NHL, recording 14 points and 209 PIM. Peluso will likely play for the Hershey Bears in an enforcing role in 2017-18.
Minor Trade
Tom McCollum traded from Calgary to Detroit for a conditional draft pick.
