The Ducks have reportedly come to terms with defenceman Steve Oleksy on a two-year contract. The 31-year-old is an unrestricted free agent on Saturday. Oleksy split the 2016-17 season between the NHL and the AHL. He played 11 games with the Penguins before being traded to the Maple Leafs at the Trade Deadline. In total, Oleksy played 26 games in the AHL this past year split between Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Toronto, recording 14 points.

Pittsburgh

The Penguins have re-signed forward Garrett Wilson on a two-year, two-way contract. Wilson, 26, joined the Penguins last summer as a free agent. He spent the entirety of 2016-17 in the AHL with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, where he scored 31 points in 59 games. The native of Elmvale, Ontario has played 34 games in the NHL, all with the Florida Panthers. Wilson has yet to register his first career point.

Vancouver

Anton Rodin has re-signed with the Vancouver Canucks on a one-year, $700,000 contract. Rodin, 26, was brought over from Brynas IF after an impressive SHL campaign a year ago. Unfortunately, injuries kept Rodin to just six games all year. He recorded one assist in three games in both the NHL and the AHL. The Canucks are hoping Rodin can have a healthy year to see what they truly have in the skilled winger.
