Last Word on Hockey is pleased to present our new hockey podcast, The 4th Line Podcast. Coming from Calgary, AB and Nanaimo, BC, Carl and Joel provide their own unique and fun view of hockey. The guys are back as they recap the end to the 1st round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, including:
– Joel’s feelings about the end of the season for his Toronto Maple Leafs
– Has the Montreal Canadiens window closed? What do they do this off-season to best prepare for the future?
– After a trip to the Finals last year the Sharks are now out in the first round. What does this mean for their franchise?
They also preview the second round of the playoffs, looking at The Senators vs Rangers, Capitals vs Penguins, Ducks vs Oilers and Predators vs Blues. The trade of Scott Darling from the Chicago Blackhawks to the Carolina Hurricanes also happens during the show.
Lastly, they look at the NHL draft lottery and decide who are the worst managed team in the league, featuring the Vancouver Canucks and Buffalo Sabres.
