Noah Brown will be making the jump to the pros.
The Ohio State wide receiver declared for the NFL Draft on Saturday night, making the announcement via his Twitter account. Brown had two years of eligibility remaining.

Ohio State Wide Receiver Noah Brown Declares for 2017 NFL Draft
The Flanders, NJ native finished the 2016 season with seven touchdown receptions, tied with Curtis Samuel for most among Buckeye players. His 32 receptions and 402 receiving yards was second behind only Samuel for the team lead.
Brown’s coming out party last season came on the road against the Oklahoma Sooners. He caught four receiving touchdowns in OSU’s 45-24 win, including an insane circus catch at the end of the second quarter. Brown was able to come up with the ball despite having to wrap his hands around Sooner cornerback Michiah Quick.

Brown is the fourth Ohio State player to declare for the 2017 draft. He joins Raekwon McMillan, Malik Hooker and Gareon Conley who’ve also forgone their remaining eligibility to turn pro. Last year, 12 former Buckeyes were drafted by NFL teams.
2016 could be described as one where Brown overcame adversity. A year earlier as a redshirt freshman, he broke his leg during preseason camp and missed the entire season. The injury dealt a blow to a relatively young receiving corps at the time.
Brown came to Columbus as one of the more highly touted prospects at his position. Rivals.com rated him as the third best recruit out of New Jersey and ninth overall among wide receivers. He committed to the Buckeyes on September 9, 2013.
The highly talented wideout will now attempt to join a crowded list of former OSU pass catchers making waves on NFL rosters. Of particular interest is Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints, who led all rookies with 1,153 receiving yards during the 2016 season. Thomas was taken in the second round by the Saints in last year’s draft.
