Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top commits in their class. All-American DE Jeremiah Williams has signed his NLI to the University of Florida.
This is a huge signing for Florida as Williams is an elite athlete and one of the top recruits in the country. Florida head coach Dan Mullen loves the Williams skillset and projects to make a big impact on the Florida Gators defense in the future.
Williams is the only weak-side defensive end that’s signing with the Florida Gators on Wednesday.
All-American DE Jeremiah Williams
Jeremiah Williams is a four-star defensive end out of Ramsay High School in Montgomery, Alabama. Williams was a tough get for the Gators as he held offers from some other elite college football programs.
During his recruitment, Williams received 35 offers from some of the top college football programs in the country. Williams had offers from schools like Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Penn State.
On 247 Sports, Williams is the 63rd ranked recruit and the fourth ranked weak-side defensive end in the country. On ESPN, Williams is the 92nd ranked recruit and the eleventh ranked defensive end in the country.
The Gators have added one of the top defensive recruits in the country and will be a nice fit into the BUCK position at Florida. Williams will enroll at the University of Florida after the spring semester.
