Four-star DT Jalen Lee Signs With Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff has signed one of their top-ranked defensive commits. Four-star defensive tackle Jalen Lee has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. Important to note, Mullen likes Lee’s skill set as he’s a great fit for the Florida defense. However, Lee is one of four defensive tackles to sign with the Gators with Lamar Goods, Gervon Dexter, and Johnnie Brown.

Who is Jalen Lee?

Lee is a four-star defensive tackle out of Live Oak High School in Watson, Louisiana. The newest Florida signee is one of the top defensive linemen recruits in the country. In fact, the Gators were able to flip him from the LSU Tigers. Lee has been one of the top recruits in the country since arriving on the scene. Lee signed with Florida over Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M.

First, on Rivals, Lee is the 224th ranked recruit and the 18th ranked defensive tackle in the country. Comparatively, on 247 Sports, Lee is the 265th ranked recruit and the 21st ranked defensive tackle in the country. The Gators have added a top defensive lineman who could really make an impact in the future. David Turner and the Florida coaching staff did a terrific job of getting Lee to Florida.
