He is a big, physical tight end. Lang is still learning how to play tight end as he was a defensive end in high school. He is a terrific blocker which could really help him see early playing time with the Gators in short yardage situations. Lang chose Florida over Georgia, LSU, and Ole Miss.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Lang is the 612th ranked recruit and the 34th ranked weak-side defensive end in the country. According to Rivals, Lang is the 88th ranked recruit in Florida and the 32nd ranked tight end in the country. The Gators have added a big tight end who could really develop into a solid player.
