Three-Star OG Kingsley Eguakun Signs With Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top offensive commits. Three-star offensive guard and Florida commit Kingsley Eguakun has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a big signing for the Gators as they flipped Eguakun from the Miami Hurricanes. Florida head coach Dan Mullen likes Eguakun’s skill set as he’s a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Florida Gators offense in the future. This is the second OG Mullen has signed in his first two recruiting classes at the University of Florida. Kingsley Eguakun is the second offensive guard signee this class with Ethan White.

Who is Kingsley Eguakun?

Kingsley Eguakun is a three-star offensive guard out of Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida. The Florida offensive guard commit is one of the top offensive guards in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Eguakun was committed to Miami before visiting Florida. He really took off in recruiting once he committed to the Florida Gators. Eguakun signed with Florida over Auburn, FIU, Louisville, Miami, Tennessee and UCF.

On the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Eguakun is the 666th ranked recruit and the 40th ranked offensive guard in the country. On ESPN, Eguakun is the 86th ranked recruit in Florida and the seventh ranked center in the country. The Gators have added a really solid offensive guard who could really make an impact in the future. Being an early enrollee, Eguakun will get to Florida in January and learn the playbook quickly. Eguakun will likely redshirt next season with Nick Buchanan returning for his senior season.
