Four Star OL Caedan Wallace Signs With Penn State

Offensive line coach Matt Limegrover is bringing in much needed depth at the offensive line position that has struggled in recent years. The Nittany Lion o-line has been the topic of much conversation and was arguably hit hardest by the sanctions levied by the NCAA. Quarterback Trace McSorley was sacked nearly 50 times over the last two seasons. The offensive line did improve throughout the 2018 season, but the unit is losing Chasz Wright to graduation. The offensive line may also lose Will Fries and Connor McGovern. Wallace will have several returners to learn from when he enters the offensive line room after enrolling at Penn State. Michael Menet and Mike Miranda will be the veterans in the room if Fries and McGovern decide to leave.

Wallace will play for the East team in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on January 6th, which was not always on the radar for the senior out of the Hun School. Formerly a running back in Georgia, Wallace was not aware he was good enough for a big time school. He did not know how good he was until Rutgers called after his first season at Hun. Then Penn State started to come around. While taking visits, Wallace stated that Penn State “feels like home.” Further, that he gets a “…loving family type atmosphere from the coaches and the people on campus…” Now Wallace is officially coming home to stay and the Nittany Lions are excited to have him.
