Four-star ATH commit Iverson Clement signs with Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff might have signed their next star running back. Four-star running back and Florida commit Iverson Clement has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a big signing for the Gators as Clement was one of the first recruits to commit to the Gators. Running back coach Ja’Juan Seider is very excited to add more depth to an already loaded backfield. The Gators return their top two rushers in Lamical Perine and Malik Davis. Clement is one of two running backs signing with the Gators as four-star RB Dameon Pierce will also sign with Florida.

Who is Iverson Clement?

Iverson Clement is a four-star RB out of Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The Florida RB commit is one of the top running backs in the country. He was quick to pull the trigger on the Gators as he committed to the Gators on April 13th. Clement has been one of their most solid and active commits. Clement chose Florida over Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Clement is the 282nd ranked recruit and the 11th ranked athlete in the country. According to ESPN, Pierce is the 286th ranked recruit and the 24th ranked athlete in the country. Clement had a great senior season at Rancocas Valley as he rushed for 1,419 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had ten catches for 128 yards and two receiving touchdowns. The Gators have added another elite back who can really add solid depth in the Gators backfield.
