Kentucky Recruiting Profile- Lynn Bowden

With National Signing Day upon us it is time to take a look at the top incoming players for 2017 for Mark Stoops and the Wildcats. Up first in the Kentucky Recruiting Profiles is Lynn Bowden.

Kentucky Recruiting Profile- Lynn Bowden

Bowden, a 6-1, 180 pound athlete out of Stoops’ hometown of Youngstown, Ohio, played quarterback in high school. He is listed as a four-star player ranked number 60 in the country by Scout and 197 by Rivals. As a senior, Bowden ran for 2,277 yards, threw for 1,366 yards and accounted for 57 touchdowns. He draws comparisons to former Wildcat Randall Cobb.

While he can play a number of positions Bowden will most likely play wide receiver for the Cats. Following Jeff Badet’s transfer, many think he could step in from day one and play.

In fact coaches who have played against him say he is the real deal.

Bowden provides an intriguing weapon to the Wildcats, as they look to get increased offensive production over the next few years.
