We have six NBA games to look forward to today. While we enjoy the action, I have found the best NBA bets for March 11 for you to jump on. Let’s win some bucks as teams struggle for playoff seeding.

Best NBA Bets for March 11, 2024

Hornets @ Pistons

Pistons -3.5 (-110)

The Charlotte Hornets travel to Detroit to take on the Pistons in the third game of their season series. The previous game ended in a seven-point win for the Pistons at home. With these two teams being in the same conference, there is some familiarity between both teams, who are amid rebuilds.

The Pistons and Hornets both had lofty ambitions of qualifying for the postseason. Unfortunately, things have panned out differently, so both have taken punts on their season. They are both in the bottom three of the Eastern conference. Both teams have young cores led by promising guards.

The Pistons come into this game off a loss to the Mavericks at home. The Hornets beat the struggling Nets at home, so they are the more confident side heading into this matchup.

The Hornets’ Lamelo Ball, Mark Williams, Cody Martin, Seth Curry and Bryce McGowens will miss this game with injuries. Tre Mann is a game time decision. The Pistons have Quentin Grimes as their sole injury concern.

The Pistons will be confident heading into this game, having beaten the Hornets twice this season. In an awful year record-wise, the Pistons have a rare opportunity to get a season series sweep.

The Hornets come into this game on a four-game losing streak on the road. In their last eight on the road, they have scored a 100 or less in four of those games. It’s extremely hard to win in the NBA when you do this. The Hornets are missing so many players that it will be hard for them to keep up with the Pistons at home despite the scoring brilliance of Brandon Miller and Miles Bridges.

Over the last seven games at home, the Pistons have scored at least 109 points in five of those games. Moreso, they have scored at least 118 points in four games. They put points on the board quite regularly.

In this NBA bet, we’re backing the healthier and higher-scoring team to win at home. Straightforward pick.

Suns @ Cavaliers

Over 221 (-110)

The Phoenix Suns travel to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. This will be the first meeting of a short two-game season series between these sides.

Both teams head into this matchup, winning two of their last four games. The Suns have scored at least 110 points in 13 of their last 14 on the road. They have done so against respectable defensive-minded teams like the Rockets, Nuggets, Pelicans and Clippers.

Their opponents have scored at least 112 points in six of their last seven on the road. Moreso, if we use today’s over as the benchmark, the over has hit 14 of their last 15 on the road.

The Cavaliers could be welcoming back Donovan Mitchell and Max Strus from injury absences. Evan Mobley remains out. Dean Wade and Darius Garland are gametime decisions. For the Suns, Devin Booker will be a gametime decision. Suns have a bunch of players listed as out for tonight’s game.

This will also be the second game of a back-to-back for the Cavaliers. The presence of Donovan Mitchell and Devin Booker will go a long way in determining how easily the over will hit. Keep a close eye on the injury report as we get closer to tip-off.

In this best bet, we are backing the over, because it’s such a low number to cover given the sheer amount of elite shot-making on both teams. We’re not deterred by the Cavaliers ranking third in the NBA in defensive rating.

Mavericks @ Bulls

Mavericks -4.0 (-110)

The Dallas Mavericks travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls in the second game of the season series. The previous game ended in a nine-point win for the Mavs at the American Airlines Center.

The Mavericks are currently eighth in the Western conference standings. They are just two games ahead of the lakers so they are in danger of slipping into a play-in spot. They are also just three games behind the Pelicans who are in fifth.

The Bulls lost their most recent game against the Clippers on the road. The Mavericks beat the hapless Pistons on the road. Luka Dončić made history in that game recording his sixth straight 30-point triple double.

The Bulls are still dealing with the long-term absences of Lonzo Ball, Patrick Williams, Zach Lavine. The Mavericks have Dereck Lively II listed as doubtful.

The Bulls have been a competitive team all year, playing in many close games. Still, they will be facing a dangerous Mavs team behind an extra scary Luka Dončić.

The Mavericks have won six of their last ten on the road. The Bulls have won just two of their last seven at home, needing overtime in both. Both required insane rebounding from Andre Drummond. The Mavericks matchup well with that with their size post-trade-deadline.

This is an NBA bet where we are backing the more talented and healthier team. The Bulls could keep it close but i trust the Mavericks to eke-out a win at the United Center.
