Black-and-Red host second leg of Eastern Conference semis on Nov. 8
Washington, D.C. (Oct. 30, 2014) – D.C. United will take on I-95 rival New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference Semis of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs. United will kick off the playoffs with the first leg of a two-match aggregate series on Sunday, Nov. 2, at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., followed by the return leg on Saturday, Nov. 8, at RFK Stadium. The fourth-seeded New York Red Bulls defeated fifth-seed Sporting Kansas City 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Knockout Round match on Thursday, Oct. 30.
D.C United’s opening match will be televised by Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic (4 p.m. ET) on Sunday, Nov. 2, and the return leg will be broadcast nationally by NBC (2:30 p.m. ET) on Saturday, Nov. 8.
