The news has been confirmed, according to Ariel Helwani, by UFC President Dana White. The middlweight title fight will now be moved to February.

Helwani also reported that Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler II will be moved from the February PPV to the headlining slot of UFC 181.

Chris Weidman is coming off of a win against Lyoto Machida leading up to UFC 181. No venue or date has been confirmed for the Feburary PPV card.

UFC 181 takes place on December 6th at the Mandalay Bay Center in Las Vegas Nevada. The co-main event will be for the UFC Lightweight Championship as Anthony Pettis fights Gilbert Melendez.
