After the Big Ten’s top tier got slammed in Week 2, the rest of the conference followed the example in Week 3 as the Big Dime lost all six of its Power 5 matchups. Illinois and Minnesota were bashed by Washington (44-19) and TCU (30-7) respectively. Iowa was upset by little brother Iowa State when Coach Kirk Ferentz inadvertently called a timeout to ice the kicker, but instead simply gave Cole Netten a warmup for the actual game-winner. Another version of Maryland’s multi-colored uniforms couldn’t help complete a comeback on West Virginia as the Terps fell on a last second kick themselves, 40-37. And Indiana becamse the most recent Big Ten member to be embarrassed by the MAC as Bowling Green scored on the final play of the game to down the Hoosiers 45-42. MarkRogersTV simply tries to make sense of the carnage.
