Mississippi State Schedule Preview – Enough with the cupcakes

Editor’s Note: LWOS is always looking for new and innovative ways to bring you the latest in sports news. Today, tune in to Mark Rogers and his college football video podcast that we bring you, the loyal LWOS readers. A long-time college football fan, Mark has been producing a video podcast for quite some time, as he now has over 800 shows on his website (http://markrogerstv.com).

Is Twitter improving the world of College Football? My guess is no, but in this case social media worked for the common good. In July, Mississippi State Athletic Director Scott Stricklin and his counterpart at Kansas State John Currie turned a friendly tweet chat into a home and home series in 2018-2019.  As for the 2014 Bulldogs, there are no such challenges on the non-conference slate. We could debate whether Southern Miss or South Alabama is the headliner. There is no debating the absence of any Power 5 conference quality on the ledger. While Mark Rogers thinks MSU may be the sleeper in the SEC West, he also thinks the Dogs have a snoozer of a schedule. Shame on State. This schedule is downright embarrassing.
