Ole Miss’ star-studded freshman class made an immediate impact in the Rebels’ thrilling 39-35 opening win at Vanderbilt in 2013. Left tackle Laremy Tunsil, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and defensive tackle Robert Nkemiche headlined the class as the number one rated signees at their positions. The trio did not dissappoint. Tunsil finished second team All-SEC. Treadwell caught 72 passes. And Nkemdiche emerged as a run stuffing force after early season injuries slowed him down. In amidst the bright spots, the young Rebels showed some growing pains along the way. Ole Miss trash talked its way to Tuscaloosa, but left town quietly after a 25-0 loss to the Tide. The Rebels showed similar offensive woes in road losses at Missouri and Mississippi State; scoring 20 points combined.
