Things just went from bad to worse for the New Orleans Saints – much worse!
ESPN has just released information alleging the New Orleans Saints have been caught spying on opponents from 2002 to 2004.
In a year where the team’s on the field antics have caused considerable embarrassment, the report dubbed Spygate Part Two has left the organization reeling once again.
Saints GM Mickey Loomis apparently wired rooms in the Superdome from 2002-2004 for the purpose of listening to opposing coaches’ conversations. Loomis, who faces an 8-game ban for involvement in the Bounty Program, faces league and federal charges in the Spygate 2 scandal.
Saints’ management have described the allegations as “1000% false.” However given their repeated denials of bountygate and their attempts to cover it up which led to harsher suspensions for Loomis, and current Head Coach Sean Payton (not on the team between 2002-04), the GM lacks credibility right now.

Sorry. There is no shame in abandoning ship.
