Breaking: Texans Coach Gary Kubiak Collapses During Sunday Night Football

Update 10:40 PM: The Texans PR Department is saying that this is not a heart attack.

===================================================================

Things were going great for the Houston Texans tonight on Sunday Night Football against the Indianapolis Colts.  In fact they couldn’t have gone better in the first half as Andre Johnson’s three touchdown receptions from quarterback Case Keenum had the team up 21-3 on Andrew Luck and the Colts.

It was then that a very scary situation occured.  As he was leaving the field at halftime, Texans’ head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed.  He was surrounded by medical personnel, and then stretchered off the field and is being taken by ambulance to hospital.

Kubiak is 52-years-old.  His family is with him at a local Houston hospital.

Texans defensive co-ordinator Wade Phillips will be coaching the Texans in the second half.

The situation is made even scarier knowing what happened with Broncos coach John Fox last night.

More on this situation as it develops.
