The Bronze Standard: Playing the NFL Line

The picks continue under a new and more appropriate name.  At this point there is no sense in continuing to write elaborate explanations for why I invariably picked the wrong team.  But I can’t give up entirely because as someone pointed out at this point my picks function as a public service for anyone looking to fade them.  We’re keeping it short and sweet until we get this ship turned around.

Bronze
Denver -7.5 over DALLAS – I figure this game would be a good test to see if I could make any team play their worst game of the season by picking them.

Silver
Philly +1 over NYG – We’re going to keep rolling against the Giants until they manage to lose a game by less than 10 points.  Then we can reevaluate the situation.

Gold
Carolina -2 over ARIZONA – We are overdue for a blowout.  Arizona barely made it past a Tampa team that couldn’t move the ball last week.  Carolina has been competitive in every game they have player and their Dline is going to be too much for Arizona to handle.

Worst of the Rest
CINCY (PK) over New England – Tougher game for the Pats then last week, especially missing their entire defense this week (Wilfork).
ST LOUIS -11 over Jacksonville – Why not?  Rams were just 3.5 dogs at home to 49ers.  Jacksonville is only 14.5 points worse than SF?
New Orleans (PK) over CHICAGO – because I love grabbing dome teams on the road.  No really, I do.
Houston +6 over SAN FRAN – See.
San Diego -4.5 over OAKLAND
