The Boys move on to the Pittsburgh Penguins who got two goals from Bryan Rust to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning in seven games. Matt Murray or Phil Kessel, who is the Penguins MVP. What about the stories of Sidney Crosby‘s demise and his lack of leadership? Can Evgeni Malkin find another gear in the finals? Can Kris Letang and company get things done on the Penguins defence without Trevor Daley?
The boys also look at what this means for the futures of Jonathan Drouin, Steven Stamkos, and Ben Bishop. Who will be back in a Lightning sweater and who won’t?
We then take a look at hockey outside the NHL, recapping and analyzing this week’s action in the AHL Playoffs, the Memorial Cup, and the IIHF World Championships.
Finally the boys get to their Cup Preview. They break down all the match-ups and decide who will have the edge. Pittsburgh or San Jose, Dave and Ben give you their picks to take home Lord Stanley’s Mug, and tell you why.
