MUST SEE: Tyler Toffoli Dekes Out Jones
The Los Angeles Kings have struggled to score in the first few games of the season. The lone bright spot for the Kings has been Tyler Toffoli, who’s leading the team with four goals so far this year. Toffoli’s latest goal was a highlight reel deke around San Jose Sharks goaltender, and former Kings backup, Martin Jones.
Toffoli’s goal put the Kings up 1-0 midway through the first period of their first road game this season. Los Angeles started the season with five straight games at home, going 2-3-0 to begin the year.

MUST SEE: The King Saves New York
In New York, it’s never a surprise to see Henrik Lundqvist carrying the Rangers to a victory, and he preserved another win on Thursday night. The upstart Arizona Coyotes gave the Rangers a scare early in the game, leading 1-0 and dominating play until halfway through the second period. The Rangers pulled ahead in the third with goals from Kevin Hayes and Keith Yandle to take a 3-1 lead.
With only two minutes remaining, and the Coyotes pushing, Lundqvist made his best save of the night on rookie goal scoring leader Anthony Duclair. Duclair leads all rookies with five goals so far this season, but was denied by a spectacular diving save from the Rangers goaltender. The Rangers would go on to win 4-1 after bring awarded an empty net goal on a breakaway penalty.
