For the Team that Drafts E.J. Bibbs, They Won’t Regret It

Chicago Native and Iowa State graduate, E.J. Bibbs, had himself an impressive season in Ames last year.

Despite a poor record, Bibbs kept the Cyclones in games they should not have been in, while also making some spectacular catches.

And here’s the catch in gif form

Bibbs’ biggest asset, however, comes after catching the ball. The 6’1″, 255-pound beast maneuvered his way into the endzone on eight seperate occasions last season, including twice in two games.

Two teams with a big need for a tight end include the Cleveland Browns and the Buffalo Bills. Bibbs would work well into either of their systems as they both need a subtle target who can find his way into the endzone.

Being from Chicago and growing up a Bears fan, however, Bibbs has said that he would love to be drafted by Chicago. With the draft in the windy city, it would make the moment even more special.

The second and third rounds kick off on Friday of course, and Bibbs could find his way in there easily, but after that first round, it seems like the draft is due for some surprises.
