Macho Harris has signed a contract extension with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Financial details were not released by the club. Harris is a valuable member of the Riders defensive backfield, often referred to as the “Wolfpack”. He has played significant time as a defensive back for the club over the last three seasons.
Harris will join new Rider rookies as well as fellow veteran teammates Terrell Maze, Tyron Brackenridge, Tristan Jackson, Mark LeGree, Woodny Turenne, Marshay Green, and newcomer Keenan McDougall in what promises to be a battle for starting positions in the secondary at the Roughriders 2015 training camp.

Macho Harris Extends With Riders
The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that international defensive back Macho Harris has signed an extension with the team. As per club policy, details of the contract were not released.
Macho Harris (6’0 – 200 lbs) will be entering his fourth season with the Roughriders after originally signing with the team in April 2012. Through his first three seasons, the 29-year-old Virginia Tech product has collected 91 defensive tackles, two quarterback sacks, two tackles for loss and one interception in 28 regular season games.
He has also registered eight defensive tackles in two playoff games.
