UCLA Adds Cordell Broadus To Its List of Signees

Move over Combs family, there is a new musical group going to UCLA. Cordell Broadus, one of the higher ranked wide receivers in this class, and the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, announced his commitment to UCLA a short time ago. He will now be teammates with Justin Combs, son of music mogul Sean Combs.

Broadus is 6-2, 195 and has been weighing offers from USC, UCLA and Arizona State. His father, a long time avid Trojans supporter, moved the family to Las Vegas four years ago for the purposes of his son playing his high school ball at the much heralded Bishop Gorman.

Broadus averaged 15 yards per reception is senior season and had more than 1,800 yards in his four year varsity career at Bishop Gorman.

His father had pushed hard for him to go to USC, but at his announcement, Snoop Dogg said he completely backs his son’s decision to go to UCLA.
