In a Word is a week in sports recap column that recaps the major stories of the past week– in one word.
This week’s article is a recap of Week 15 of the NFL season, in a Word of course. There was a lot to choose from this past week but I did narrow down my selections. Some of it was good and some of it was terrible. In the case of the Chicago Bears they were the definition of bad.
Jay Cutler must go. He is a terrible QB that hasn’t found a way to be successful in this league, despite being given every opportunity and many chances. I said the Bears couldn’t win with him when they signed him and I will say the same thing again. Cutler is a bust and the Bears must cut their losses with him.
I know that this is supposed to be an NFL recap and not a Jay Cutler Recap but he played so poorly on Monday night that I can’t help but continue where Trent Dilfer and Steve Young left off in their criticism of Cutler.
Cutler has become an embarrassment to the Chicago Bears and their fans and his poor play shouldn’t be tolerated anymore. As far as Jay Cutler being the definition of bad this week, the Buffalo Bills defense was the definition of brilliance. They suffocated Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense. They might have provided a blue print of how stop Aaron Rodgers.
Buffalo’s defense has played well all season. With their defense you could have Trent Dilfer, Kyle Orton or any other game manager, as long as they play error free.
