Updated Heisman Trophy Odds for 2020 Season

Betting site Bovada recently released an updated list of odds for this season’s Heisman Trophy race. With the Pac-12 and Big Ten cancelling all fall sports, the race for the top college football player is now wide open. Names like Justin Fields, Rondale Moore, and Micah Parsons from the Big Ten, and CJ Verdell and Kedon Slovis from the Pac-12 have been removed from the competition through no fault of their own, but likely would have been included in these odds. The person at the top of the list, Trevor Lawrence, has long been the favorite to win the award this year, and that gap is now widened. Below is Bovada’s thirty players with the best odds to win the Heisman Trophy for the 2020 season.

If these odds sound encouraging, OnlineCasinoSnoop.com notes that Bovada is offering a $3,000 free-play sign-up bonus and notably has lots of other bettor-friendly bonuses at various times.

An interesting note is that three teams have at least three players on this list, but only one is currently ranked in the top 15. Alabama has six players on the list and is ranked third, while Oklahoma State is ranked 16th with three players and Louisville is unranked but with three players.

It should also be noted that last year’s winner, Joe Burrow, was not included on many lists before play began for the 2019 season. While there were some games this past weekend, the Big 12 and ACC will begin play this upcoming weekend. The AAC will start the following week, and the SEC will begin on September 26.
