Alexa Grasso Set To Make UFC Debut

One of the most highly talked about female prospects in Mix Martial Arts is making the jump from Invicta Fighting Championships to the UFC. Alexa Grasso is set to make her UFC debut on November 5th in her home country of Mexico.

Grasso is set to take on Ultimate Fighter Season 20 veteran Heather “Hurricane” Clark . The 23 year old, Grasso, is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Jodie Esquibel. A win that everybody thought would put Grasso in line for a title shot against current Invicta FC Straweight Champion and also Ultimate Fighter Season 20 fighter Angela Hill. However now with Grasso moving to the UFC that leaves a huge void as to who Hill would fight next.

Alexa Grasso Set To Make UFC Debut

Grasso currently holds a perfect 8-0 record with four wins coming by TKO/KO and the other four coming by way of decisions. Grasso had four fights with Invicta, three of those four coming by way of decision.

The 23 year old is a very scrappy fighter who possesses great counter strikes and a take down defense that is almost unmatched.

Her opponent, Clark, is coming in as a winner of two out of her last three fights. Her last fight was the one that saw her two fight win streak snapped as she lost to now presumptive number one contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz by unanimous decision.

Grasso is the latest female fighter to make the jump from Invicta FC to the UFC. Look out for this girl as she now starts her climb to the top of the UFC straweight division.

This fight card takes place November 5 in Mexico City.
