This week, Colorado welcomes FC Dallas. It’s a battle of the top teams in the West and surely these teams will find a way to put on a show. Colorado has still managed to lose just 2 games, but none at home. Dallas has lost 6 of their 11 games on the road. Will it be more of the same or will Dallas find a 6-point swing at DSG? Let’s see what the experts say:

Expert Pick Comments

COL
(1-0)

Colorado has the best home record in the league, giving up only 4 goals in 10 games at home. Dallas has scored just 11 of their 34 goals on the road this year.

Eric Walcott

DRAW

In the case of most potent attack in MLS against the the league’s best defense, coming off a tough midweek game for Dallas, the defense will reign supreme.

Russ McKenzie

@Russ_McKenzie

DAL
(2-1)

FCD 2-1: I know it’s Tim Howard and all, but Dallas is incredibly potent.

Ned Joyce

DRAW
(2-2)

Dallas is still licking it’s wounds but will come back to form . It’ll be a fun game with lots of chances but neither will be able to set themselves apart and may be a preview of a future playoff matchup

Matt Pollard

COL
(2-1)

FC Dallas had to play a midweek USOC match against Houston. Castillo, Zimmerman, and Acosta all went 90. Urruti and Diaz played most of the game. Dallas is going to be running on empty at altitude. Jones might be back for Colorado. A full strength home team will help Colorado pull away in the second half.

Daniel Sperry

COL

#BecauseMLS. Also Because Colorado is really organized defensively, and usually can sneak one in.

Joe Hojnacki

DRAW
(1-1)

The best offense in the league takes on the best defense and neither side will get the job done. Dallas’s talent penetrates Tim Howard once while Colorado manages to punch back and get a late equalizer.

Laura McFayden

DRAW
(1-1)

Dallas is amazing but somehow so is Colorado.
