Seattle Seahawks Easiest Games in 2016

The Last Word On Sports NFL department will be analyzing schedules of every team. In this article, the Seattle Seahawks easiest games are the focus.

During July, the Last Word On Sports NFL department will be analyzing the schedules of every team in the NFL and ranking each game in order of difficulty (with one being the most difficult). This series will be split up into the eight most difficult games (ranked 1-8) and the eight easiest games (ranked 9-16) for each team. In this article, the Seattle Seahawks easiest games are the focus.

Seattle Seahawks Most Easiest Games in 2016

9. Week 2 at Los Angeles Rams

This game will mark the Rams first regular-season home game in over 20 years as they make their return to Los Angeles from St. Louis. The Rams have a record of 9-8 against the Seahawks at home and they certainly will have an advantage in week 2. But with the new move back to L.A., will this make the Rams more vulnerable?

10. Week 9 vs. Buffalo Bills

The Bills and Seahawks have not played many games against each other, only 13 total since Seattle’s birth in 1976. The Bills aren’t known for having a strong roster. Possibly the biggest names that are a part of the franchise right now are Sammy Watkins, LeSean McCoy and Tyrod Taylor.

11. Week 11 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Seahawks and Eagles are tied when it comes to their all-time head-to-head record. But when considering their roster and true ability, Seattle has an edge over Philadelphia. The Eagles struggled behind quarterback Sam Bradford and running back DeMarco Murray last season. This season the Eagles have changes to both positions with addition of rookie Carson Wentz and the departure of Murray.

12. Week 15 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Divisional matchups are always highly anticipated around the league. Seahawks versus Rams fits into this category. Games between these two teams are always an ultimate head-to-head match. The Seahawks have an all-time 21-14 win record against the Rams and are 13-6 when at home.

13. Week 12 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The last time these two teams met, the Seahawks took the win 27-24 in week 9 of the 2013 season. The Buccaneers are counting on their team of young talent to lead them to the playoffs. With leaders like Jameis Winston, Doug Martin, and Mike Evans, they sure have a shot. But can the young Bucs get past the Seahawks stellar defense?

14. Week 1 vs. Miami Dolphins

The Seahawks haven’t faced the Miami Dolphins since week 12 of the 2012 season when the Dolphins took the win at home. This time, the Seahawks are at home. Only eight teams have won at CenturyLink Field in the past five years.

15. Week 17 at San Francisco 49ers

Week 17 is the second match up of the season between Seattle and San Francisco. It’s a chance for the loser of week 2 to come back for a win. Despite the 49ers home advantage, they haven’t compiled enough talent in the recent offseason to beat the Seahawks.

16. Week 3 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Week 3 marks the first game between the Seahawks and their divisional rivals in San Francisco. The 49ers have dropped to the bottom of the league totem pole in the past few seasons. As a result, most expect that the Seahawks will take the win in this one. But can new head coach Chip Kelly revitalize San Francisco as a threat among the NFL?
