This week, New York takes a short trip down 95 to visit the surprise Union. Philadelphia has been the talk of the East after a hot start saw them leading the East. While many have thought they would falter, the Union have been one of the most consistent teams in the East. New York has been consistent on the road too, although not in the way fans might hope. Will NY find more ways to drop points on the road, or will Philly feel the full force of vengence from the Red Bulls for their Open Cup loss? Let’s see what the experts say

DRAW
(1-1)

As much as I want to see it change, NY’s road record, especially against Eastern conference foes, is abysmal. A point will do.

Eric Walcott

NY

Philly have been hurting since they lost Nogueira. They’ll get a goal, but after resting starters midweek, the Red Bull attack will be too much.

Russ McKenzie

PHI
(2-0)

Red Buls are having serious problems in attack, and on the road. Another week they play thee matches in eight days, against a club that has four more days of rest. At least New York won’t fail to hold onto a lead.

Ned Joyce

PHI
(3-1)

This is a crazy year and very well may be a Union – Rapids MLS cup. Union will show their no joke by dismantling the reigning supporters shield winners

Matt Pollard

DRAW
(2-2)

Red Bulls are due for an offensive breakout on the road. Sacha and BWP are going to have good performances. But Philly’s coming of two great home performances. Alberg might create something, and I’d expect Sapong to do work as well.

Daniel Sperry

@LWOSDaniel

NY
(3-1)

Philly has looked good, but defense has been leaky as of late. RBNY is playing a lot better recently.

DRAW

The Union still haven’t proved they belong with the East elite. The Red Bulls have begun to cone around lately. The home field advantage earns Philly a point.”

Laura McFayden

PHI
(2-1)

Philadelphia have had no problem finding the back of the net and they don’t look to be letting up anytime soon. RBNY have had a long string of games in a row but got three points home v. Orlando. The Union are a better team, have had more rest, and won’t have a problem getting the win here.
