OTPP: Penguins Can Clinch Cup on Home Ice and More

Last Word on Sports is proud to present their hockey podcast, On the Powerplay with Ben and Dave. Join Ben Kerr and Dave Gove each week as they take a look around the Hockey World focusing on the big issues of the NHL and elsewhere.

This week Ben and Dave look at the Stanley Cup Final.  The Pittsburgh Penguins can clinch the Cup on home ice in game five of the series after taking a 3-1 series lead. The Penguins speed is giving the San Jose Sharks defence fits, and it is only Martin Jones who is keeping the series close.  Logan Couture has acccussed Sidney Crosby of cheating,  Phil Kessel just keeps scoring.  All those stories and more from the Cup Final.

The boys also look at NHL Expansion plans, Peter Karmanos‘ pending lawsuit and the future of the Carolina Hurricanes, the NHL Scouting Combine results, the AHL’s Calder Cup Final, Don Cherry‘s new contract, Theoren Fleury‘s AMA, and more.
