ISR Interview Stephen Warboys: Djokovic stronger than rest of ATP

To review the Australian Open Former ATP Player Stephen Warboys joined the International Sports Report’s Lins O’Connor and Peter Irvine in studio on TSN 1050 Radio in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Sunday to offer his take on the Men’s Final. Warboys updates the injury that affected Milos Raonic in his semi-final match against Andy Murray, and how long it will take Raonic to recover.

Stephen debates the importance of focus on the tennis court vs emotional outbursts we see from some players. Warboys also discusses where Milos may find himself in the next few years, as we envision a future with the aging core of top ATP players such as Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray. Stephen also opines on Andy Murray’s anger on court during the Aussie Open.

Warboys reflects on Angelique Kerber’s upset of Serena Williams for the Australian Open Women’s title and what it means for the women’s game going forward. Stephen also talks about Serena possibly playing through injury in the finals.
