On  Jan. 15th, Michael and J. Franchise interviewed former University of North Carolina All-American, 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Champion, 8 Time NBA All Star, and current member of the Memphis Grizzlies Vince Carter (AKA Half Man, Half Amazing… AKA Vinsanity).

Vince Carter is a 6’6″ professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA) & plays both shooting guard and small forward.

A high school McDonald’s All-American, Carter played three years at the University of North Carolina. While there, he twice reached the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament before being selected as the fifth overall pick in the 1998 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors, who traded him to the Toronto Raptors. He won the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year Award and won the Slam Dunk Contest at the 2000 NBA All-Star Weekend. That summer, he represented the United States in the Summer Olympics, winning a gold medal.

We talked about his college and professional career as well as his greatest highlights. We also talked about his charity work in the community. Tune into what will be a “Slam Dunk” of an interview.
