MUST SEE: McDavid Dazzles Mrazek

It was a slow start for Connor McDavid in getting acclimated to the NHL, but those days seem like distant memories. He’s adapted to playing in the league.

He’s hot now and its no surprise that his increased scoring has helped the Oilers, who won their third game in a row by defeating the Red Wings 3-1 on Wednesday night.

McDavid scored the second goal of the game, in the second period, beating Detroit goaltender Peter Mrazek in the process. The goal was an absolute beauty.

This was McDavid’s third goal in the past three, and he showed a little bit of everything; Speed, elusiveness, skill, and finish that the hockey world has been waiting to see on a big stage.

Getting comfortable with every game played, the league should be on the lookout for #97 every time he’s on the ice.

Its becoming clear that McDavid has officially arrived and Mrazek won’t be the last of his victims, as he won’t be leaving NHL highlight reels for a long, long time.

Both teams return to action on Friday as the Oilers play the second game of a three-game homestand against the Washington Capitals. The Red Wings travel to Calgary to face the Flames.
