These pitchers have good match-ups and are likely to be available on your league’s waiver wire. We here at LWOS want to provide you with the best up to date information available, and streaming pitchers weekly will improve your chances of winning a Fantasy Baseball Championship.

LWOS Two Start Pitchers to Stream Week of April 13

James Paxton, SP, Seattle Mariners, Yahoo! Availability 39%

Probable Starts: 4/13 vs Los Angeles Dodgers; 4/18 vs New York Yankees

If James Paxton is available in your league, pick him up and start him every week for the rest of the season. Paxton is in for a big season, and so far his season is off to a good start. He gave up 2 runs in 6 innings against the Angels in his first game of the year, including 5 strikeouts and only 1 walk. The 5 strikeouts equates to a 7.5 K/9 which is very close to his career total of 7.36. While the Dodgers pose a tough match-up, Paxton should be able to do some damage against an inconsistent and aging Yankees lineup. With both starts at pitcher friendly Safeco Park, I expect Paxton to put up good fantasy numbers this week and for the rest of this season.

Danny Duffy, SP, Kansas City Royals, Yahoo! Availability 50%

Probable Starts: 4/13 @ Minnesota; 4/19 vs Oakland

Danny Duffy is coming off a rough game against the Pirates, giving up five runs in only five innings pitched. However, as a pitcher who had a 2.53 ERA and 9 W last year, there is very little cause for concern. One reason for my lack of concern is because Duffy will face a Twins team at Target Field that has only scored 13 R in 6 games and is giving up the most fantasy points per game this year to starting pitchers. The match-up against the Athletics is enticing as well. I expect Duffy to pitch very well this week.

Daniel Norris, SP, Toronto Blue Jays, Yahoo! Availability 79%

Probable Starts: 4/14 vs Tampa Bay; 4/19 vs Atlanta

Daniel Norris won his in first start against the Yankees, allowing 3 runs in 5.2 innings while striking out 5. He looked pretty good and showed the strikeout potential fantasy owners are dreaming of. This season, Norris should continue to rack up Strikeouts. The projection systems listed on his FanGraphs page project his K/9 rate this year to be in the 8-9 range. This week, Norris will face two below average lineups in the Rays and Braves with both starts coming at the Rogers Centre. Norris should pitch effectively in both games, but at the very least you can expect a win or two and plenty of strikeouts.
