In the 76th minute, forward Duke Lacroix opened the scoring for the Indy Eleven. Midfielder Dylan Mares doubled the lead seven minutes afterwards. STL FC did have several quality chances for Nikita Kotlov, Jeremie Lynch, and Mike Roach, but they were unable to convert. Saint Louis is now 1-1 in preseason.

“Playing a team like Indy Eleven really showed us where we’re at in our preseason training,” said STL FC Head Coach Dale Schilly. “We have a quick turnaround before our next match, so it was good to identify some things we need to work on going forward.”
