Boston Bruins Trade Jordan Caron to Colorado Avalanche

In the Boston Bruins second trade of the day, it has been announced that Jordan Caron is being sent to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Max Talbot.

Jordan Caron, 24, was drafted by the Boston Bruins 25th overall in 2009. After countless opportunities of playing at the NHL level, Caron has failed to meet standards. In 123 games, Caron has tallied 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 total points.

Bruins fans have been awaiting this moment for quite some time, however the acquisition of Max Talbot is certainly one that was unexpected. Talbot, 31, is a veteran center who has played in 585 games, tallying 84 goals and 95 assists for a total of 179 points.

This trade could prove to benefit both teams, as Caron needed a change of scenery to ever improve his game at the NHL level. When it comes to Talbot, he brings to the table playoff experience. Talbot has participated in 82 playoff games in his career while tallying 18 goals and 21 assists for a total of 31 points. With the Boston Bruins desperately hanging on to a playoff spot, they will be looking to Talbot to help bring some experience to the table with the hopes of a strong playoff push.
