FANTASY PROFILE: JIMMY ROLLINS, SS, LOS ANGELES DODGERS

LWOS Ranking 8, Captain’s Value: $9.16

After spending his entire career with the Phillies, Jimmy Rollins was traded to the Dodgers during the off-season. There are a few things to take into consideration before drafting Rollins. He is getting older (he’s now 36) and it is probably unreasonable to expect him to go back to the monster numbers he put up in 2006-2007.

However, Rollins is still worth drafting. Even into his 30s, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to stay healthy on a regular basis (at least 138 games played in the last four years). In addition, he continues steal plenty of bases as he has stolen at least 22 each of the last four years and for good measure, he is likely to hit around 15 HR.
