2015 Canadian Championship: Montreal Impact To Face Toronto FC

MONTREAL – After having won the last two editions of the Amway Canadian Championship, the Montreal Impact will try to defend its title in 2015, taking on Toronto FC in the semi-finals.

The Impact will open the series on May 6 at Stade Saputo before playing the return leg at BMO Field on May 13.

NASL clubs Ottawa Fury FC and FC Edmonton will meet in a preliminary round before facing the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the other semi-final series.

The five professional soccer teams in Canada will be playing for the Voyageurs Cup and the chance to represent their country in the 2016/2017 CONCACAF Champions League.

In addition, the Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be Canada’s representative for the 2015/206 CONCACA Champions League after finishing as the team with the best regular season record last year.

First leg – April 22, 2015 – Ottawa Fury FC vs FC Edmonton
Second leg – April 29, 2015 – FC Edmonton vs Ottawa Fury FC

SEMI-FINALS
First leg – May 6, 2015 – Montreal Impact vs Toronto FC
First leg – May 6, 2015 – Ottawa/Edmonton vs Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Second leg – May 13, 2015 – Toronto FC vs Montreal Impact
Second leg – May 13, 2015 – Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs Ottawa/Edmonton

FINALS
First leg – August 12, 2015
Second leg – August 26, 2015
