FANTASY PROFILE: ADRIAN GONZALEZ, 1B, LOS ANGELES DODGERS

LWOS Ranking 9, Captain’s Value $14.90

While Adrian Gonzalez is getting older (he turns 33 in May) and hits between 20-25 Home Runs per season these days instead of the 30+ he hit from 2007 to 2010, he continues to have plenty of fantasy value.

One thing that he has continued to demonstrate value in is providing a strong batting average. He has hit at least .275 every year since 2006 and all indications point to this continuing into 2015. He also continues to provide strong returns in RBIs (at least 85 every year since 2007) & Runs Scored (he has scored 75+ Runs in eight of the last nine seasons.

Another bonus with Gonzalez is that he has managed to combine steady production with the ability to stay healthy. He has played in at least 156 games every season since 2006.
