FANTASY PROFILE: JONATHAN LUCROY, C, MILWAUKEE BREWERS
What more can we say about Jonathan Lucroy? He’s an elite defensive catcher who is also one of the two or three best hitting catchers. One guy even thought he deserved MVP consideration in 2014. The only red flag is all of those innings he’s put behind the plate over the years. At age 29, he’s not getting any younger, and those innings could start to creep up on him. The relatively lower games played projection for 2015 has taken this into account. Hopefully for his sake, the Brewers are smart and give him more playing time at first base to rest his legs.
