After an altercation with his wife, a suspension of two games that was later extended, and getting fired by the Ravens, Ray Rice has won his appeal and is reinstated to the NFL.

Rice is eligible to play football immediately, but one question still remains: “What team will he sign with?” or as others put it, “What team will be willing to sign him?”
Ray Rice has won his appeal. Punishment vacated immediately. Means a lot for players, but not necessarily anything for Rice.

It will be interesting to see if he does get picked up – rumors have been saying the Indianapolis Colts are interested, but that’s all they are – rumors.
As for what he could make, here is a look at the veteran minimum that Rice is eligible for.
With 6 years of experience RB Ray Rice can be signed at a min. salary of $730k, prorated for 5 weeks at $214,705

The NFL have stated that they will not be pursuing further punishment against Rice and accept the Arbitrator’s decision in the case.
As to whether the NFL further pursues Ray Rice punishment, it will not. Am told by league, as to the ruling, "We accept it as binding."

With the NFL playoff push in full swing, any team with injuries, or needs at the running back position will have to weigh the pros of signing someone how was one of the NFL’s premier running backs just a short time ago, against the inevitable public relations fallout such a signing would have.
