Dallas Stars Forward Antoine Roussel to Have League Hearing

Dallas Stars forward Antoine Rousell will have a disciplinary hearing with the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety tomorrow for his actions in the third period of Saturday’s game against the San Jose Sharks.

At the 18:51 mark of the third period, Rousell received a two minute penalty and a 10-minute game misconduct for a sucker-punch to San Jose Sharks defenseman Justin Braun. Rousell was assessed a two-minute minor for goaltender interference with his “classless” hit on Alex Stalock. Upset with the hit to his goaltender, Sharks blue liner Braun got into a scrum with Rousell in an attempt to stick up for his fallen teammate. During the tussle, Rousell was given a 10-minute game misconduct for a sucker punch.
