The LWOS Baseball Department is pleased to bring you their live game blog, in conjunction with Cover It Live. The Blog will be going live tonight at 7:30 pm as the American League Champion Kansas City Royals take on the National League Champion San Francisco Giants. With a win on Tuesday the Royals evened the Series, and set up tonight’s winner-take-all World Series Game 7 showdown. As always we’ll be here throughout the game, for every big play, bringing you the best in baseball coverage during the World Series.

The Royals bats exploded in a seven-run second inning and the team got seven shutout innings from youngster Yordano Ventura to win 10-0 and stay alive in Game 6 yesterday. Tonight the Giants are extpected to start Tim Hudson while the Royals counter with Jeremy Guthrie. The two pitchers were solid in game 3 in San Francisco. With no tomorrow though, the bullpens will have all hands on deck, and Giants star Madison Bumgarner is expected to be on the mound at some point. The Royals meanwhile won’t be afraid to dip into their stash of HDH (Herrera, Davis, Holland) before the customary 7th inning if they get into a jam. Every run will be critrical in determing a 2014 World Series Champion. First pitch is expected to be around 8:05 pm EDT.
