ATP Dallas Best Bets Including Ruud vs Nishioka

ATP 500 Dallas quarterfinals

Paul – Opelka: 08.02.2025 02:00 CEST
H2H: 0-2

Tommy Paul has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, Paul reached the quarterfinals. He lost against Zverev in four sets, as we had predicted. This week in Dallas, in the opening round, Tommy defeated Brooksby in three tight sets. After losing the first set 6-7, Tommy started playing better and turned the match around. Yesterday, in the second round, he defeated Quinn in three sets. He is the defending champion in Dallas.

Reilly Opelka has won three of his last five matches. Reilly reached the final in Brisbane at the beginning of the season when he retired mid-match against Lehecka. Opelka has been suffering from injuries for the last couple of seasons. This week in Dallas, in the opening round, Opelka defeated Shevchenko in straight sets, as we predicted. In the second round, Reilly won against Norrie; after losing the first set, Opelka turned the match around as we predicted. In 2022, Opelka won the title in Dallas, winning against Brooksby in the final.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Paul is the favorite in this matchup, but we disagree. He struggled in both matches this week in Dallas. On the other hand, Opelka had tough opponents but performed well. We expect Opelka to hold his service games easily and win in tiebreaks.

That being said, Opelka winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Reilly Opelka winning @2.63 @bet365

Nishioka – Ruud: 07.02.2025 20:30 CEST
H2H: 1-2

Yoshihito Nishioka has won four of his last five matches. Last week, as we predicted, Nishioka helped Japan win over Great Britain in the Davis Cup. Nishioka won both matches in straight sets and showed great tennis on the indoor hard court. This week in Dallas, in the opening round, Yoshihito won against Nakashima in straight sets, as we predicted. It is his fourth appearance in Dallas. Yesterday, in the second round, he upset Tiafoe in three sets, as we predicted. Last season, Nishioka was stopped in the second round against Mannarino.

Casper Ruud has won four of his last five matches. Last week, Casper did his best against Argentina in the Davis Cup for Norway. He won both singles matches in straight sets, but Norway still lost against Argentina, as we predicted. In the opening round in Dallas, Ruud won against Duckworth in three sets. It is his first appearance in Dallas. Yesterday, in the second round, he defeated Mmoh in straight sets, as we predicted. Casper has never had any success on indoor hard courts.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Ruud is the favorite in this matchup, but we disagree. Nishioka is in great form and has three consecutive wins on indoor hard courts. On the other hand, Ruud has not had any remarkable results this season.

That being said, Nishioka winning is a value bet.
