ATP 500 Rotterdam quarterfinals
Alcaraz – Martinez: 07.02.2025 19:30 CEST
H2H: 3-0
Carlos Alcaraz has won four of his last five matches. So far this season, Carlos has played in just two tournaments. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, Alcaraz lost against Djokovic in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open in four tight sets. He is the second seed this week in Rotterdam. Carlos won against Van de Zandschulp in three sets in the opening round. Yesterday, in the second round, he dominated against Vavassori in straight sets. It is also his first appearance in Rotterdam. Carlos usually underperforms on indoor hard courts.
Pablo Martinez has won four of his last five matches. Last week, Pablo helped Spain win against Switzerland in the Davis Cup, as we predicted—he defeated Stricker on indoor hard court. In the opening round of the ATP Rotterdam, the Spaniard defeated Bautista-Agut in straight sets. Besides losing his serve once, Martinez served well. Yesterday, in the second round, Martinez upset Rune in straight sets. It is his first appearance in Rotterdam.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Alcaraz is the big favorite in this matchup, and we partially agree. Carlos has had a favorable draw so far. On the other hand, Martinez had a tough challenge in the second round against Rune but dominated from the start until the end. We believe Alcaraz will win this match, but we expect Martinez to keep this match tight.
That being said, Martinez covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Tsitsipas – Bellucci: 07.02.2025 14:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Stefanos Tsitsipas has won three of his last five matches. As we had predicted, Stefanos lost against Michelsen at the Australian Open in four sets. In Rotterdam, Stefanos defeated Mayot in straight sets in the opening round. He served well throughout the match, not offering any breakpoints. Yesterday, in the second round, Tsitsipas defeated Griekspoor in three sets. Stefanos is the sixth seed in Rotterdam and hopes for a solid result to get closer to the top 10.
Mattia Bellucci has won four of his last five matches. The young Italian had a breakthrough in the 2024 season and entered the top 100 in the rankings. Last week in Montpellier, as we predicted, Bellucci lost in the 1/8-Finals against Kovacevic in straight sets. In Rotterdam, Mattia successfully qualified for the main draw tournament. He won both qualifying matches in straight sets. As we predicted, Mattia demolished Rottgering in straight sets in the opening main draw round. Yesterday, in the second round, Bellucci upset Medvedev in three sets. It is his first appearance in Rotterdam.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Bellucci is the underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. Mattia played great this week in Rotterdam and will be fully confident coming into this matchup. On the other hand, Stefanos has struggled with his form since the beginning of the season. We expect a tight match that could go either way.
That being said, Bellucci covering the games handicap is a value bet.
