ATP Australian Open 1/32-Finals
Vukic – Korda: 15.01.2025 04:00 CEST
H2H: 1-2
Aleksandar Vukic has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Adelaide, Aleksandar lost in the opening round against Giron in three tight sets. Vukic loves to play at home, where he has the massive support of his home crowd. In the opening round of the Australian Open, Vukic defeated Dzumhur in five sets, as we had predicted. It was a roller-coaster match, with both players being inconsistent. However, Vukic was a better player when it was most important. Last year in the Australian Open, Vukic lost in the opening round against Jordan Thompson in five tight sets.

Sebastian Korda has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Adelaide, Korda reached the final, losing against Auger-Aliassime in three sets. As we predicted, Korda struggled against Klein in Australia in the opening round. Sebastian had it hard against Klein, but he won in four sets. Korda underwent surgery on his right elbow, so he skipped the second part of the 2024 season. Last year in Melbourne, Korda reached the third round, losing against Rublev in straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Korda is the favorite in this match, but we disagree. Korda struggled in his opening match against Klein. We expect a tight match that could go either way. Vukic loves to play aggressive tennis, which is a perfect surface for him.
That being said, Vukic covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Davidovich Fokina – Auger-Aliassime: 15.01.2025 06:00 CEST
H2H: 0-6
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Adelaide, the Spaniard reached the second round, losing against Korda in straight sets. In Melbourne, Alejandro won the opening set against Shang 7-6. In the second set, Shang retired due to an injury. Last season was disappointing for Davidovich Fokina, who is totally out of form. Last year in Melbourne, Alejandro reached the second round, losing against Nuno Borges in straight sets.
Felix Auger-Aliassime has won six straight matches. Last week in Adelaide, Felix won the title, winning against Korda in the final in three tight sets. Auger-Aliassime has now six ATP titles. In the opening round of the Australian Open, Felix easily defeated Struff in four sets. The young Canadian started this season by playing in the United Cup. He lost his opening match against Coric but defeated Fritz shortly after that. Last year in the Australian Open, Felix reached the third round, losing against Medvedev in straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Auger-Aliassime is the favorite in this matchup, and we agree. Felix played great in his opening match against Struff, and we expect him to be fully confident coming into this match. On the other hand, Alejandro almost lost the opening set against Shang and made many unforced errors in the first two sets. Auger-Aliassime leads 6-0 in head-to-head meetings, and we expect him to win once again against Alejandro.
That being said, Felix winning 3-0 or 3-1 is a value bet.
