ATP Rome Day 4 Predictions
Corentin Moutet vs Pedro Llamas Ruiz
Head-to-head – First Meeting
Corentin Moutet is seeded 28th this week and received a bye into the second round as a result. Pedro Llamas Ruiz did well to battle through qualifying and then secure a hard-fought first-round win, but the young Spaniard is still relatively inexperienced at this level. Moutet has far more variety and options on clay, and while he may be pushed, expect the Frenchman to come through a tough contest.
Prediction: Moutet in 3
Cameron Norrie vs Thiago Agustin Tirante
Head-to-head – Norrie 1-0 Tirante
Cameron Norrie has posted some decent results on clay this season, including a win over Thiago Agustin Tirante in Madrid. Tirante is a capable clay-courter, but so is Norrie, whose heavy forehand can be particularly damaging on this surface. Tirante may be able to redline his game and make things interesting, but Norrie should have enough consistency to come through this matchup.
Prediction: Norrie in 3
Flavio Cobolli vs Terence Atmane
Head-to-head – Cobolli 1-1 Atmane
This could be an interesting matchup. Flavio Cobolli is knocking on the door of the Top 10 and has continued to show steady improvement, while Terence Atmane has also put together some respectable results in 2026. Both players like to take heavy cuts from the baseline, but Cobolli has been the more consistent performer lately and should have the edge in controlling the key moments.
Prediction: Cobolli in 2
Jannik Sinner vs Sebastian Ofner
Head-to-head – First Meeting
There is very little going wrong for Jannik Sinner at the moment. Buoyed by the home crowd in Rome, the Italian faces an easy task against Sebastian Ofner. Sinner has not lost a match since Doha and looks like the overwhelming favourite heading toward Roland Garros, so expect him to dominate from the baseline and secure a comfortable win.
Prediction: Sinner in 2
